Yoga 4 Living Welcome, I’m Monica. I offer authentic, heart-centred practices, incl. Oncology Yoga (yoga4cancer), Hatha, Meditation, Sacred Shakti, Gentle, Yin & Yoga Nidra.

I started yoga to manage my stress levels in the late 90s, I have practised here in Australia as well as overseas, following my cancer diagnosis in 2017 I sought a holistic authentic yoga teacher but found most classes were very exercises like. So decided to become the teacher I was looking for. I’m a cancer survivor who loves to teach holistically from my heart, guiding you step-by-step through nurturing tailored asana (postures), pranayama (breathwork) mudras (hand seals), meditation, yoga nidra and spiritual yogic philosophy and more, while weaving in related scientific research demonstrating the enormous benefits of yoga if you are, or have been, going through cancer treatment (applicable to Yoga4Cancer). After your class I can almost guarantee you leave feeling more relaxed embodying that Yoga Bliss. These classes along with Gentle Yoga, Hatha, Yin, Slow Flows and Shakti* inspired Hatha Yoga are offered in small groups, online as well as one-on-one (packages available). I'm a certified yoga4cancer (Oncology yoga) teacher, who successfully manage my own long term side effects caused by cancer and its treatment. This October and November, I invite you to five budget-friendly meditation classes designed to bring more calm, clarity, and resilience into daily life — while also supporting me on my path to becoming an Accredited Meditation & Mindfulness Teacher.

Research shows that regular meditation helps regulate and protect our bodies from stress (adrenaline and cortisol) while increasing levels of endorphins (happiness), dopamine (reward), and serotonin (lack of is linked to fatigue, insomnia, depression, and anxiety). And this is just the start of the many benefits.

🔱At its heart, Navaratri is both a cosmic story—told in the Devi Mahatmyam, where the Divine Mother conquers the forces of greed, pride, injustice and more afflictions—and an inner journey of connecting with the Divine Self inherent in us all.
✨ Invitation where we will enter into this living tradition together. During 2023 and 2024 I was blessed to celebrate Navaratri in Mother India herself, immersed in the devotion of thousands, and it is with that inspiration that I now bring this offering to our community, which I last did in 2021.

🕉Through mantra, storytelling, mudras, meditation and gentle flow symbolising Her battles and Her love, we will attune to the energies of the Divine Mother, opening our hearts to Her presence as countless devotees around the world do during these nine sacred nights.

🌺This gathering is an offering of devotion, community, and inner transformation, a chance to align with the timeless rhythms of the Goddess and celebrate Her victory within and around us.

I'm so honoured to offer two heart-centered Oncology Yoga - Yoga4Cancer (Y4C) classes each week—designed especially for those affected by cancer.

🧘‍♀️ Tuesdays 10am (In-Person Belmont, Geelong) – Starts 1 July
Join me in a safe, supportive space to gently move, breathe, and reconnect. Each week we explore a different theme, addressing specific side effects from cancer and its treatment—like fatigue, anxiety, bone loss, lymphoedema, and more—while rebuilding strength and restoring a sense of well-being.

💻 Wednesdays 6pm AEST (Online via Zoom)
Accessible from anywhere on our sacred planet 🌍, this class brings the same compassionate and evidence-informed support right to your home.

Join us for a transformative workshop exploring the ancient wisdom of Marma—vital pranic points used in Ayurveda and Yoga for healing, balance, and spiritual awakening. Guided by Dr. Pardeep Kumar MD (Ayurveda) and Monica Moore, you’ll learn to locate and understand key marma points, types of marma, explore their role in balancing the doshas (emotional and physical constitution according to Ayurveda) and the subtle body, and discover how to incorporate this knowledge into yogic postures, meditation, and using marma therepay for holistic health practices for self-care at home.

When: 12 July for this half day workshop 10 am - 1 pm incl breaks, limited spaces, Geelong (Heart Chiropractic Belmont)

Melt into Stillness: a Yin & Yoga Nidra Journey
Welcome to a deeply nourishing practice designed to soothe the nervous system and restore harmony to body, mind, and spirit. This offering is intended to run monthly, creating a regular space for deep rest and renewal—but don’t miss out on this first one, as places are limited and each session is uniquely crafted.

Yin Yoga invites us to slow down and soften. With gentle, intentional postures held for several minutes, we work with the fascia—the intricate web of connective tissue that supports and surrounds every part of us—creating space for deep release and a freer flow of energy. Supported by props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks, this practice offers a grounding, nurturing experience. There is no striving here—only the invitation to let go.

We begin with simple movements, mindful breathwork, and grounding Yin postures to help the body unwind and the breath guide us inward. As part of the journey, we may explore gentle self-massage of marma points—vital energy centers—inviting a release of tension and a return to inner calm. The soft, resonant tones of Tibetan singing bowls may accompany the practice, offering vibrational healing that gently washes through the subtle body.

The experience flows naturally into Yoga Nidra, a deeply restful guided meditation often called “yogic sleep.” In this state of profound relaxation, the body is completely at ease while the mind is guided beyond thoughts, beyond roles, beyond effort. Here, in the quiet spaciousness of awareness, we remember our true nature—peaceful, whole, and deeply held.

Come as you are. This is your invitation to slow down, soften, and reconnect with the sanctuary within.
