Geelong Day Surgery recently celebrated 3 months since opening, and we're proud to have provided surgical care to 118 patients - 22 dental surgery (sleep dentistry) and 96 endoscopy patients.

We have commenced providing special needs dentistry, and general minor surgery. We will soon be offering plastic surgery, including all aspects of melanoma/skin cancer excision and reconstruction.

Geelong Day Surgery - Day 1

Yesterday marked the beginning of a new chapter for Geelong Day Surgery, as we opened our doors to serve the community with compassion and dedication.

Dr Rashi Gupta kicked off with a remarkable feat by successfully completing a complex surgical procedure. She skillfully removed 18 terminal teeth in the upper jaw and placed 4 implants, achieving very good primary stability in very soft bone. The patient will receive new aesthetic upper fixed teeth on implants.

Gratitude overflows to the entire team, including our dedicated supporting technicians, whose unwavering commitment made yesterday's surgical achievement possible.

A special thank you to Matt Acheson for his invaluable support and to our exceptional Director of Nursing Suzette Dela Cruz-Regalo for orchestrating the day seamlessly, and to our CEO Aseem Gupta for his tireless support, management and leadership.

Yesterday's journey marks a heartfelt milestone in our commitment to transformative surgical care.
