THURSDAY Thought ~ πŸ€”
The turtle never hurries. It moves with quiet certainty. - one step, one breath, one moment at a time. You don’t need speed to make progress. You need direction, patience, and consistency. Because rushing leads to burnout. But steady effort builds strength. Every small movement counts. - even when it feels too slow to matter. Keep moving. Not fast. Just forward.

Progress isn’t about how fast you move, it’s about the grace in your persistence. Like the turtle, you may not sprint, but you never stop. In the quiet rhythm of patience and faith, you will find that slow steps still reach great distances. ***** ☝🏻

A gym enthusiast walked in with tight sore muscles and walked out feeling light and recovered.

Regular massage visits are highly beneficial for gym enthusiasts, helping to relieve muscle tension, increase flexibility, and reduce pain. These sessions, often focusing on deep tissue or sports massage, can decrease inflammation, enhance recovery, and boost immune function. ***** πŸ‘πŸ»

* ON REQUEST ONLY *

Few Minutes Dry Cupping in the Overactive Upper Trapz and Shoulder Muscles ~

This non-invasive method targets tightness in the upper shoulder to treat muscle knots, chronic pain, and limited mobility resulting from stress, poor posture, or overuse. Cupping works by creating a suction (negative pressure) that lifts the skin and fascia, increasing blood flow and loosening muscle fibers.

Marks (bruises) from Cupping are temporary and will absolutely go away on their own. They typically fade within 3days to 2weeks, depending on the intensity of the treatment, the darkness of the mark, and your body’s healing process. *****

Primary Symptoms Presented: A Slow-growing Lump ~
Subscapular pain, discomfort with shoulder movement, localized dull aches or discomfort, triggered by shoulder motion.

Palpable Mass:
A firm, deep seated mass located at the lower edge of the shoulder blade (infrascapular region) between the 6th & 8th ribs.

This case is believed to be a benign tumor, occurred on the inferior pole of the scapula, caused by chronic, repetitive friction between the scapula (shoulder blade) and the ribs.

Massage does not shrink or eliminate this type of fibrous growth. It is recommended to see a doctor to ensure the lump is diagnosed correctly. ☝🏻

A Hypermobile Ct with Tight Congested Rhomboids ~ appearing as β€œknots” (trigger points) between the shoulder blades and the spine. With this hypermobile individual (who has ceased doing her activity, pilates), her affected muscles, Rhomboids are frequently tight because they are overworking to provide stability to an unstable scapulothoracic joint. Gentle myofascial release applied. One management approach should be muscle strengthening, focusing the rhomboids, lower trapz, and serratus anterior to better support the scapula.

A stubborn muscle knot that is sitting between the top of the shoulder blade (supraspinatus) and the neck is not an easy fix but doable. This is extremely common, often caused by chronic tension, poor posture, or overworking the upper trapezius and levator scapulae muscles. These knots feel like hard, tender bumps because the muscle fibers are stuck in a contracted state, restricting blood flow and oxygen to the area. The progress is slow but applying proper massage techniques, good work around the affected areas, and simple daily neck stretches and shoulders will fix it. The MT and the CT need to work together to achieve the goal.

Effective neck and shoulder stretches to relieve tightness have been shown and applied to the client.

What Happens to Your Body When You Walk? | 1 to 60 Minutes Walking Benefits

1 Minute – Blood Flow Increases

When you start walking, your heart rate begins to rise slightly and your blood circulation improves. This increased blood flow helps deliver more oxygen and nutrients to your muscles and brain. It prepares your body for movement and starts activating your cardiovascular system.

5 Minutes – Mood Improves

After about five minutes of walking, your body starts releasing mood-boosting chemicals like endorphins. These natural chemicals help you feel happier, calmer, and more relaxed. Even a short walk can reduce feelings of stress and improve mental clarity.

10 Minutes – Cortisol Reduces

Cortisol is known as the stress hormone. Around the 10-minute mark of walking, your body begins to regulate cortisol levels. This helps reduce stress, anxiety, and mental tension. Regular walking can be very effective for improving emotional well-being.

15 Minutes – Blood Glucose Reduces

After about 15 minutes of walking, your muscles start using glucose (sugar) from your bloodstream as energy. This helps lower blood sugar levels and improves insulin sensitivity, which is especially beneficial for people managing blood sugar or diabetes.

30 Minutes – Fat Burning Begins

At around 30 minutes of continuous walking, your body begins to shift toward burning stored fat for energy. This makes walking an excellent activity for weight management and fat loss, especially when done regularly.

45 Minutes – Worry Reduces

Longer walking sessions, around 45 minutes, can significantly calm the mind. Walking helps regulate brain chemicals that control stress and anxiety. Many people experience mental clarity, reduced worry, and a more peaceful state of mind during this stage.

60 Minutes – Dopamine Boost

After about one hour of walking, the brain releases dopamine, a neurotransmitter linked to motivation, pleasure, and focus. This boost can improve productivity, increase motivation, and leave you feeling mentally refreshed and energized.
