Amaaaazing 🙌

We have been hard at work over the last year with the amazing team at Ambulance Victoria, helping prepare a Neuroinclusive Toolkit!

Calling an ambulance is a stressful experience and Autistic people and their supporters can face additional barriers. We spoke to many people in our community who told us about the unpredictability, the sensory overload, and the difficulties in communicating pain, and how they contributed to their stress and anxiety levels.

It’s great to see inclusion in practice.

We have some exciting things coming up this Term and we wanted to do a quick update!

This week was the first week of our Fishing Friends and it was an absolute blast! They rugged up and headed to Barwon Heads and began learning the process of catching a fish including regulations and rules around fishing. There are still some spots available if you want to join our crew on Mondays 🎣
