Hi 👋, I’m Michelle, thank you for being here, I thought it was time to show myself and let you know a little about me.

For as long as I can remember I have loved to listen to people and hear their stories. It is innate for me to understand the inner person and how they have coped with both the natural and forced pressures of life.

I am curious and I care. I care deeply about people, and my curiosity enables me to see things from a fresh, heart-felt perspective.

As a Counsellor, Motherhood Wellbeing Coach and Childosophy Practitioner, I also bring in a little meditation, breath work and tapping - (emotional freedom technique) to provide a calm, safe, nurturing place for those who need the time and space to share their stories and learn to redefine your journey.

I truly believe that anything is possible in the seemingly impossible.

I hope to support you in this journey of motherhood, as we really need to support mothers differently.

Grief is a journey
And it comes in waves - just like the ocean
Some days can be wild, fierce and stormy, and some choppy and bumpy and some days it gently rolls in and out.
A subtle reminder that really grief is always here with
us just in a different form each day

This poem by Donna Ashworth, beautifully captures the journey of grief

YOU DON’T JUST LOSE SOMEONE ONCE

You lose them over and over,
sometimes in the same day.
When the loss, momentarily forgotten,
creeps up,
and attacks you from behind.

Fresh waves of grief as the realisation hits home,
they are gone.
Again.

You don’t just lose someone once,
you lose them every time you open your eyes to a new dawn,
and as you awaken,
so does your memory,
so does the jolting bolt of lightning that rips into your heart,
they are gone.
Again.

Losing someone is a journey,
not a one-off.
There is no end to the loss,
there is only a learned skill on how to stay afloat,
when it washes over.
Be kind to those who are sailing this stormy sea,
they have a journey ahead of them,
and a daily shock to the system each time they realise,
they are gone,
Again.

You don’t just lose someone once,
you lose them every day,
for a lifetime.
