Geelong owned and operated. Established in 1997 we provide a complete orthotic service for both private and public patients. Geelong Orthotics has grown steadily over the last 10 years. Our service is dedicated to providing orthotic solutions to assist our patients. Geelong Orthotics currently employs 9 staff including orthotists, technical, footwear and administrative roles. Geelong Orthotics expanded its services in 2003 to include a medical grade and comfort footwear clinic Extra Depth Footwear, now provides clinics to Ballarat and Warrnambool.

As 2025 draws to a close, we’re reflecting on the year at Geelong Orthotics and Footwear. We’ve had the privilege of supporting so many wonderful people in achieving their goals, and we’re grateful for the trust our community places in us.

🎒 Back to school shoe shopping?
Three things that matter more than brand or price:
✔️ A firm heel (it shouldn’t squash easily)
✔️ Flexibility at the toes - not the middle
✔️ Enough width for growing feet.

We see a lot of foot pain this time of year where footwear comes into play, especially when shoes aren’t giving growing feet enough support or room.

Recently Chris spent two days at the Royal Children’s Hospital learning to fabricate the Fior & Gentz Neuro Swing AFO using wet‑lamination techniques with Össur. Continuous learning means better precision, better durability, and better outcomes for the people we support.

Chris will visit Lake Health Group monthly next year, making it easier to access expert orthotic care close to home.

🎄 Holiday Hours – We’re Here When You Need Us 🎄

We wish to thank everyone for their continued support over the last year.
While our team takes a short break to celebrate, we’re still here for emergency care including fractures and urgent hospital referrals.

✅ Wednesday 24th: 9:00am – 12:30pm
✅ December 29th, 30th & 31st: Emergency appointments only
✅ January 2nd: Emergency appointments only
❌ Closed: December 25th–28th & January 1st
✅ We return to normal hours from Monday, January 5th
Please note: We’ll be working with reduced staff during this period. Geelong Footwear will also be closed during this time.
