Need to see a GP but can’t make it into the clinic?

Health e Medical Centre offer Telehealth consultations via phone and video (with selected doctors) so you can access care from wherever you are.

Telehealth is suitable for a range of appointments, including general advice, follow-ups, scripts and results.

A few things to keep in mind:
• Not all doctors offer video consultations
• New patients are welcome, however Medicare rebates are not available for Telehealth if you haven’t visited the clinic in person before

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month 💛

Endometriosis affects 1 in 7 women and people assigned female at birth in Australia by age 44. Despite how common it is, many people experience symptoms for years before receiving a diagnosis.

Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, which can lead to:
• Painful periods
• Pelvic or abdominal pain
• Pain during or after s*x
• Heavy periods
• Fatigue
• Fertility challenges

These symptoms are not something you should have to “just live with.”
