๐Ÿ‡ Ready, Set, Thrive! ๐Ÿ‡ Just like the athletes at the Melbourne Cup, our bodies need balance, strength, and care to go the distance. For women, that means understanding how to keep strong foundationsโ€”whether thatโ€™s supporting your pelvic floor, managing stress, or finding time for self-care. ๐ŸŒธ

A reminder today: Take the reins of your health, just like jockeys do on the track. Your journey is a marathon, not a sprint, and small adjustments can make all the difference. ๐Ÿ’ช

Have you ever wondered what influences the load on your pelvic floor?

These are also things that we look at and address in a treatment whether you're coming in for a pelvic floor treatment or just an everyday alignment. But just having a few of these influences increasing load on your pelvic floor could be the difference between LBL and staying dry throughout your day and activities.

An irritated bladder, often referred to as bladder irritation or bladder inflammation, can cause frequent urination, urgency, discomfort, and pain.

Do you have an irritated bladder? Here's a list of common bladder irritant foods.
Keeping a food diary and taking note of when your bladder is showing signs of irritation could help to determine if what you're eating is contributing to your discomfort.

There are also a lot of other causes to bladder irritation and seeing a pelvic health osteo (like me) can help find and treat the source of the problem.

Book online for an apt or send me a DM if you have any questions.

What's the difference between a pelvic floor physio and a pelvic floor osteo in my experience? We also give you exercises to help at home BUT in a treatment we are more hands on and are going to treat (internal or external up to you) any structures that could be causing or contributing to the problem as well such as...
๐ŸŒฑ release tight muscles and ligaments
๐ŸŒฑ decrease tension in the fascia
๐ŸŒฑ address any structural changes that could be affecting function, could be local but could be further away like an ankle restriction
๐ŸŒฑ look at your posture and how it may be impacting
๐ŸŒฑ ensure correct breathing
๐ŸŒฑ discuss other lifestyle factors that may be able to help make a positive change

If you have any questions or would like to make an appointment, send me a DM or book online ๐Ÿ‘‡
