Treatment through the outside of your hip is commonly done to treat a range of injuries. We often find trigger points through the hips and glutes, which are the tight bands we can commonly feel in a tight muscle.

Here our physio Darby is dry needling the tibialis posterior muscle, which can have a significant impact on reducing shin pain with exercise.
