Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, or ‘ACT’ is my favourite method.
It is a type of mindful psychotherapy that helps you to stay focused on the present moment and accept your feelings without fear or judgement.

It aims to help you to move forward through difficult emotions so you can put your energy into healing instead of attaching to the negative.

Thinking errors… also known as ‘cognitive distortions’, are patterns of maladaptive thinking that can occur commonly among individuals.
Below are some examples that you might identify in yourself or others you know.
CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) is often used in therapy to identify these thinking patterns, and reframe thoughts in a more helpful and healthy way.
