🚨 Measles is back in the Geelong region

Highly contagious and more serious than many think, measles is making a comeback - especially in areas with lower vaccination rates.

🤒 Symptoms to look out for include:

• High fever
• Cough and runny nose
• Red, watery eyes
• White spots in the mouth
• A red, blotchy rash that starts on the face

🛡️ The best protection? Vaccination.

Two doses of the MMR vaccine provide around 99% protection and are free for eligible Australians under the National Immunisation Program.
