Thanks to all who came along and joined Carlie’s messy play and learn at the Northern Carols this evening 😁🎄🎅🎄
Activities were a hit, look forward to seeing everyone at the next event.

All done ready for today’s carols. 350 Christmas tree ornaments and oat bags made and 60 reindeer headbands and home made paints and snow ready to go. See you there,

🎄Carlie’s Messy Play and Learn will be at the Northern Carols on the 14th of December 2025 from 5pm to 7pm.🎄
Come and join us for some christmasy messy fun and craft.
Decorate your own saltdough ornament to hang on the Christmas tree,
Make some reindeer antlers to wear,
Build a snowman with play dough,
Play with some cold squishy snow or
Make your own reindeer food for Christmas Eve in our oat sensory tray.

Our Dinosaur session was a hit, the children enjoyed exploring the dinosaur dig (once all the bones were dug out we turned it to slime). There was much excitement as the children put vinegar onto the bicarb dinosaur eggs to reveal a baby dinosaur and lots of crafting fun.🦕🦖

Come along next week to Thekidzcrew to join us for another fun session.
Next week is a ‘YELLOW’ themed session for cancer awareness month.

Book week - Elmer the elephant 🐘
Will change items used to decorate each day to keep the children interested.
Today was blocks, throughout the week we will have scissors and paper, pom poms, makeup pads and water droppers, and play dough.
