Gut feeling off lately? Sometimes it’s not what you’re eating, but how you’re living day to day, that’s doing the damage.
Here are a few habits that could be impacting your gut health and leading to symptoms like bloating, fatigue, breakouts, and poor sleep 👇
🍽️ Skipping meals
Regular meals help keep your hormones, metabolism and digestion in sync. Going too long without eating can disrupt your gut bacteria and leave you feeling sluggish, gassy, and nutrient-depleted.
🥚 No protein at breakfast
Protein in the morning helps stabilise your blood sugar, energy, and mood for the day ahead. Without it, you’re more likely to feel flat, foggy, and experience poor digestive function.
🚶♀️ Eating on the run
Digestion needs calm. When you’re stressed, distracted, or in a rush, your body isn’t in the right state to digest food properly, leading to bloating, discomfort, and poor nutrient absorption.
🛌 Inconsistent sleep
Your gut thrives on rhythm. Poor or irregular sleep can mess with hunger cues, slow down your digestion, and leave your gut (and you) feeling out of whack.
