Sepsis is a life-threatening response to infection and can affect anyone, young or old, healthy or with existing conditions.

Early recognition and treatment save lives.

🚨 Know the signs:

Slurred speech or confusion
Extreme shivering or muscle pain
Passing no urine
Severe breathlessness
Skin mottled, discoloured or cold
Feeling like you might die

If you suspect sepsis, seek urgent medical help immediately – call 000 in Australia.
