Day 6 Adelaide adventures took us to the Harbour Town Premium Outlets, where Adam purchased a new backpack after looking through a range of stores. There was plenty to see, with lots of outlet shops offering good variety and a relaxed place to walk around.
We stopped there for lunch, taking some time to sit, eat, and enjoy a break before continuing to explore the centre and have a look through a few more shops.
After that, we headed back to the accommodation to get organised and start packing for our trip home tomorrow. It was a quieter afternoon, giving everyone a chance to unwind after a big few days and reflect on all the adventures.

Day 5 adventures started at the Oval Café, enjoying a coffee while watching the dogs run around—such a relaxed way to begin the day. We then made our way to the South Australian Maritime Museum, one of Australia’s leading maritime museums, combining 19th-century buildings with modern storytelling to bring South Australia’s rich sea history to life.
After that, we headed to the National Railway Museum, the largest railway museum in Australia. It continues to preserve and share the country’s rail history through interactive exhibits and beautifully restored trains, which were a real highlight of the day.

Adelaide Day 4 adventures kicked off at the Adelaide Zoo, where there were plenty of animals to see. The pandas were definitely a highlight, along with the tigers and many more.
After the zoo, we headed down to Glenelg Beach. We took a ride on the ferris wheel and enjoyed a stroll along the beach, even sneaking in a gelato along the way.
Back to the accommodation for a few hours of rest before heading out for dinner at the Tower Hotel.

Adelaide Day 3 Adventures kicked off at the Adelaide Farmers’ Market, where we were hoping to spot Poh Ling Yeow at her Jamface stall—but she was busy with MasterChef Australia. Still, everyone grabbed something delicious from her store. We wandered through the market, taking in all the fresh produce, from unique mushrooms to tasty salami.
Next stop was the Adelaide Gaol, where we explored its rich history and enjoyed an arts trail along the way. After that, we couldn’t resist a quick visit to Krispy Kreme for a sneaky doughnut treat.
The day continued with our Port River cruise, where we experienced the dolphin and shipwreck graveyard tour—spotting plenty of dolphins and exploring the fascinating wrecks. We wrapped up the day with dinner before heading back to the accommodation.

Day 2 took us to Monarto Safari Park, the largest open-range safari experience outside of Africa. We jumped on the Zu-Loop bus, hopping off at different stops to explore the animals. Some were a bit tricky to spot at first, but once we were back on the loop, we managed to see plenty.
On the way home, we stopped in Hahndorf where Jayden grabbed his Hofbräu München beer at The German Spoon. We had a wander through the shops, and Adam picked up a leather belt from one of the local stores.

A fabulous day at the ANZAC service in Winchelsea. The boys laid flowers, showed great respect to the veterans, and loved trying on army hats and chatting about the displays.
We enjoyed some lunch before heading back to relax. Very proud of how they conducted themselves—hopefully we can do it again next year 🥰

Day 1 Adelaide..Everyone met at North Shore Station, ready for the adventure to begin. The Overland arrived at 9:15am and everyone boarded for the journey to Adelaide. Along the way, the train stopped at Ararat, Stawell, Horsham, Dimboola, Nhill, Bordertown and Murray Bridge.
During the trip, everyone enjoyed a search-and-find game and Connect 4, which were both a big hit. Once arriving in Adelaide, the group picked up the bus and headed to the Airbnb. Everyone got settled in, completed the shopping, and enjoyed dinner, ready for day two of the adventure.

First one for the year .. Jayden and Vanessa volunteered at the Torquay Tigers, where they helped cook bacon and egg rolls. They were actively involved in both preparing the food and serving customers, and it was a great success with everything selling out.
