Yes fellas, we really are giving you permission to play with your balls! โšพโšฝ

Testicular cancer is the second most common cancer (after melanoma) in Aussie males aged 20 to 39. But it can happen to men of any age, even in their teens. ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

Your risk may be higher if someone in your family has had it, you had an undescended testicle (ball) as a baby, or you were born with hypospadias (when the urethra opens on the underside of the p***s).

Testicular cancer can't be caused by sports injuries, wearing tight clothes or having hot baths. ๐Ÿ›

The ball's literally in your court. If you're aged 15 or over, a monthly ball check is the best way to catch any changes early and get treatment. ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ

In a warm bath or shower, check each ball by rolling it gently between your fingers and thumb. Also feel the tube at the back of your balls (epididymis) for any swelling. Healthy balls will feel firm and smooth.

You need to look out for:
๐Ÿ€ a painless lump or swelling in either ball
๐Ÿ€ a change in how your balls feel
๐Ÿ€ an ache in your lower abdomen or groin
๐Ÿ€ a sudden build-up of fluid in your sc***um (sack)
๐Ÿ€ pain or discomfort in your balls or sack.

Notice something different? Stay ahead of the game and see your healthcare provider right away. ๐Ÿ†

Each year, almost 3100 Australians are diagnosed with bladder cancer. Most people diagnosed with bladder cancer are 60 or older, but it can occur at any age. About 1 in every 110 men will be diagnosed with bladder cancer before age 75, making it one of the 10 most common cancers in men. For women, the chance is about 1 in 500.
