The Rotary Club of Emerald and District is delighted to announce the Kids Fun Run with Puffing Billy 2024 raised $41,000 to assist cancer research at the Monash Children's Hospital. This will make a difference to treatments delivered to the little patients going through tough times.
The weather on the day wasn't the kindest so thank you to all the families and little runners who attended and made the day so special.
Thank you to our sponsors who supported the event despite difficult economic conditions. To our fundraising champions and their families and friends - your contribution was significant raising $6,500 towards the total.
A big thank you to all the volunteers and market stall holders who assisted on the day and in the planning period and to the PR and Fundraising team at Monash Children's Hospital - your support of the event was terrific as always!
We could not run the event without the amazing support of Puffing Billy Railway, their volunteers and their PR and events team - a very special thank you is extended to everyone involved.
