On Monday 30/03, we will reopen at 8am: If there is no power, we will endeavour to provide care to our patient even if we will work in limited capacity.

Dr Pippin Holmes is now taking an extended leave of absence from Midwest Aero Medical Services until the middle of the year to complete her postgraduate studies in Skin Cancer Medicine.

During her leave, please book with any of our new GPs at Midwest Aero Medical Services who are willing and happy to assist with your ongoing health needs.

Welcome to Dr Veena Gilbert,
Originally from Malaysia, Dr Veena Gilbert studied in Russia and graduated in Medicine in 2014. She worked at Malaysian tertiary hospital with vast clinical experience in various sub specialities and disciplines such as in general medicine , emergency department before moving as a GP in Rockingham and Geraldton

Her expertise is in female health, paediatric health, chronic health conditions, worker’s compensation and emergency medicine.

Outside work, Veena spends time with family and friends and she enjoys travelling and cooking.

Welcome to our second new doctor, Dr Janie Smith!

Janie grew up on a farm in Denmark, WA, before completing her medical degree at the University of Western Australia. She has worked as a junior doctor in Albany, Broome and Perth gaining valuable experience across both regional and tertiary hospitals.
Janie recently moved to Geraldton and is excited to be joining the team at Midwest Aero Medical as a GP registrar.

She enjoys the variety of general practice and values building long term relationships with her patients. Janie has a particular interest in women’s health, rural medicine, chronic disease management and paediatrics. She is also passionate about preventative health and supporting patients to make positive and sustainable changes.

Outside of work, Janie enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly at the beach, camping and hiking. At home, she can usually be found baking or reading.

Some of our new doctors have started ... Let first introduce and welcome Dr Erkin Bazarbaev:

Erkin is an incredibly experienced doctor from Uzbekistan with significant breadth and depth of clinical practice: he believes in quality patient centred care, and therefore is committed to good communication and patient medical literacy

He completed his Medical Degree in Saint Petersburg ,Russia in 2010. Since then he worked in reputed clinics and hospitals across Dubai and St.Petersburg

Erkin has previously worked in Geraldon Regional Hospital before joining Midwest Aero Medical to complete his fellowship with the college

Outside medicine, Erkin enjoys spending time with his family , he is a father of two boys. He speaks fluently English, Russian, Uzbek and Turkish
