Training Night at the Skate Park 💥🦴

We responded to a simulated fall in the skate bowl, practicing patient assessment, splinting suspected fractures, pain management, and safe extrication from a difficult position.

From manual stabilisation to stretcher prep, the focus was on teamwork, communication, and keeping our “patient” safe at every step.

Geraldton’s First Training Night of 2026! 🚑💚

We kicked off the night the best way with lasagna, fresh salads, and great company around the table before getting stuck into training, building our skills and working together as a team.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and to those who helped organise the evening. Our volunteers give so much of their time to the community, and nights like this remind us what an amazing team we have. 🥰

This course prepares electrical workers to safely rescue from live LV panels and how to perform CPR in line with WHS/OHS requirements.

Since launching in 2017, the First Responder App has been downloaded by over 1 million people 🤩 🙌

It maps 10,000+ AED locations across WA, has alerted responders to 3,000+ incidents, and includes step-by-step first aid guides (and so much more!)

Anyone with a valid First Aid Certificate can register as a responder and receive alerts to be first on scene and help save lives.

Oscar and Angus from Dogs for First Responders (D41R) are dropping by the Geraldton Subcentre Monday 🐶💚

These two wonderful therapy dogs are part of a mobile support service bringing comfort, connection, and a moment to decompress for our amazing first responders. Oscar and Angus are here to say hello, spread some smiles, and remind everyone how important it is to take care of ourselves and each other.
