Last week our Executive Director Rochelle Matacz was in Geraldton to meet our Workforce Development Participants and visit our clinic space. And being International Women's Day we took the opportunity to attend the IWD event being held at Mitchell Street Community Centre.

We chatted with the lovely Sonya from Connected Beginnings Geraldton who then provided us with a spontaneous visit to their centre 🙏🏻

Congratulations to our 12 participants from various organisations across Geraldton who were selected to take part in our P2P Workforce Development Training Project enabling practitioners and local service providers to build competencies in perinatal and infant mental health.

Practitioners will complete 6 days of face to face education and reflective supervision over the course of 6 months, resulting in greater capacity to support, and better outcomes for our regional families.

Thank you to Desert Blue Connect Ngala Midwest & Gascoyne, Centacare Family Services , WA Country Health Service, St John of God Geraldton Hospital, headspace Geraldton for contributing and supporting this opportunity for regional employees.
