Taking care of yourself is not selfish.
There's no other health care appointment you can have where you can walk in feeling pretty average and walk out feeling great in just a few minutes!! I've always loved that about chiro. Even as a kid in chiro care! I always thought my chiropractor was magic! I still think he was.

SUR-THRIVE-ER.
I just saw this word. Then I opened up a message from a young woman who, absolutely rocks this descriptor.
I want to say a massive congratulations to Frauke Rawlings.
She won QUEEN OF THE RING tournament in Perth today!!
This 17 year old woman literally JUST Wednesday, finished her last year 12 exam. Frauke chose to remain in Geraldton to finish school and continue her boxing training. She has been without her parents and sister for this whole year while her family has gone on ahead of her to relocate to the Eastern States. Her Dad has been her trainer during her career, so she has done this entire year 12, moving up in weight class and moving forward successfully, without her trainer, continuing her training schedule while learning to care for herself. I'm certain she had a lovely village around her here in Geraldton. We are so very proud to have sponsored Frauke for the past several years, and our judgement was not misplaced.
A young person who can successfully manage this level of commitment and responsibility will go far in anything she chooses. In fact, she has already been offered advance acceptance and housing allowance to study at university.
I have no doubt she will not rest on her laurels for very long. I will continue to follow her as she relocates interstate to pursue her boxing career and studies.
