Celebrating the Beautiful Life of Michelle
Saturday, 1st February 2025
2:00 - 3:00 PM
QEII Centre, Ground Floor
We warmly invite you to join us for a heartfelt gathering to honour and celebrate the life of Michelle – a woman who touched so many hearts with her love, kindness, and remarkable spirit. This will be a time for those who were fortunate enough to know and be loved by Michelle to come together and reflect on her extraordinary influence.
Following the ceremony, you are invited to continue the celebration at The Foreshore Hangout Lounge.
If you'd like to express your love for Michelle, there will be an opportunity to share written words during the celebration, or you may choose to bring something with you. In lieu of flowers, we kindly suggest a contribution to one of Michelle and John's favourite charities:
World Vision
Sea Shepherd
Australian Marine Conservation Society
RSPCA
Your kindness, friendship, and support are deeply appreciated.
Cheers to you, beautiful Michelle – forever in our hearts!

Hi lovely souls. It seems it is my time to embody this much loved mantra on an even deeper level than ever before. I am currently facing personal health issues that will take some time to deal with.
What this means is that I will be unavailable to offer kinesiology or float sessions for the next 3 months, possibly longer. Looking forward to the time when I have a clean bill of health and am able to see everyone again. I will miss you all, and will be very busy practicing extreme levels of self care - kindly, gently, lovingly and supportively😄😘❤ xx

Floating. Such a restful, nourishing experience as your body absorbs all the magnesium it needs from the water through your skin. Soo good for sleep, relaxation and stress reduction.
Walk in, float away ...

And if you are looking to self reflect more deeply, kinesiology accesses the less conscious and unconscious aspects of self. A perfect way to support moving through changes of ALL kinds!

I have been hacked. Apologies to anyone who has received an email from me this morning, please ignore. Currently in the process of fixing this. Grrr.

A Saturday busy bee at my clinic! The very leafy and green weeping fig trees got a major haircut today. There is a lot more light through this space now - just in time for summer and blue skies.

The less time we are consumed by 'surviving' allows us more choice in the immediate moment. Do I want this or this? To react like this, or this? Seems ever so simple. And it can be, but our multi-faceted and complex world can often swing us unaware into survival response. Pause, breathe and notice. These three actions are often beyond us in the moment (nano-second) that our survival response is triggered. Coming back to these simple processes can help re-centre and allow us to make more informed choices. Kinesiology helps access the things that trigger your survival response, increasing your awareness to support your healing choices.

Spring is looking good!
Bees, butterflies - moths and all the little midge-like insects are abounding. The little midge-like insects causing havoc in my treatment the last few weeks, with a few maybe swallowed or even breathed in - by me mainly - erghhh. Thanks to everyone who has suggested all the home remedies - I have been running my own science experiments to see which is the most effect ... from apple cider vinegar covered with glad wrap and holes punched in it - and variations and additions to that - it turns out that I am getting the best results from diffusing lavender essential oil! Thank you to my mum for that suggestion! I am sooooo grateful to have a much reduced bug population - maybe not in my garden, but definitely in my treatment room! Winning!!

A snapshot of what might happen in session.
More muscle monitoring, this time assessing the energy flow through the anterior serratus muscle. With different formats and set-ups, we could be looking at the actual muscle, and how it performs during walking, breathing and rib movement. Or assessing pain in this area, where energy may be blocked or stagnant, showing up as restricted movement in the thoracic area.
Energetically, this muscle is associated with the lung meridian, so we may be looking at grief and sadness, and how this may be 'stuck' in your system. Grief is often hard to process in our culture, and unpacking not only the major, but also the smaller, less obvious griefs can be a big session all in itself. From loss of hope and/or dreams, to loss of a cherished goal, all the way to loss of a loved one, kinesiology can help unpack the unconscious patterns and responses that may be impacting your system.
A lot of information from one muscle!

A lot of kinesiology work involves accessing meridians and accupoints within the body that may be stuck, sluggish or stagnant, which can impact our health and vitality. These roller blends are created with specific essential oils that work to stimulate and release blocked energy, allowing those accupoints and meridians to flow clearly which can assist to improve the health and vitality of your system!

Our sweet little micro business started back in 2013, when I transitioned from my intense and demanding job at SJOG hospital as a theatre nurse, and into the energetic and holistic field of kinesiology.
I fell in love with kinesiology, as I discovered how it worked to assist you to find your balance, restore your physical and energetic systems, (emotional, mental and spiritual) and access your body’s innate healing wisdom. This gentle exploration determines what is out of balance. and then what is required to re-establish equilibrium and greater wellness, through muscle monitoring. Kinesiology works to discover and unravel unconscious programing, beliefs and emotional blocks that can keep you from living the life of your dreams, assisting you to overcome crisis, trauma, overwhelm or feeling stuck, and enables you to reconnect with the joy in your life, business, creativity and relationships. I discovered and fell in love with this therapy at a time when my then 17 year old daughter was recovering from a car accident that left her with permanent damage to her left hand, and was intent on finding a way to support and transition through this stage with her.
In 2017 ago we added a float tank, for a multitude of reasons! Over twenty years ago my hubby and I first experienced the magic of floating. After my first float, I woke up the next day feeling amazingly refreshed and rejuvenated. No mean feat when you’re pregnant and chasing after a toddler. That was it for us, we were hooked. Each time we traveled to Perth, we would search out float places, long before floating and float centres became so popular. I also love it as a bonus way of processing unconscious awarenesses that arise during a kinesiology session.
When floating, magnesium is absorbed through the skin, a more effective absorption process than what occurs through our digestive system, and floating, fully supported in this highly dense magnesium solution is an optimal way of replenishing this much needed nutrient in our body. It is necessary in our neurological processing, aiding deep relaxation, meditative states and enhancing our ability to problem solve and think creatively. It helps relieve stress, anxiety and depression, fatigue, insomnia and jet lag. On a muscular level, it is well known for its ability to relieve muscle tension, aches and pains, and assists in sports recovery. It also provides a reprieve from sensory stimulus and overload in our oft-times crazy and overwhelming world. It is a great opportunity to unplug, unwind and take time out to replenish and refresh on many levels. Sooo many reasons to love floating!
