A curious fact is, that in many languages, “breath” and “inspiration” are the same word!
In Latin, inspirare means “to breathe in,” and in Sanskrit, Pranayama relates breath control to directing life force (prana).
Science confirms that—deep breathing calms the nervous system, reduces stress, and boosts overall well-being. Yet, most of us go through the day breathing too shallowly, keeping the body in a low-grade state of tension. Just by slowing down and breathing deeply, we can activate relaxation, sharpen focus, and even support conditions like anxiety and vertigo.
