I will be making some pretty big changes to this page, heading in a whole new direction. So watch this space, I will have it all up soon hopefully. 💖💕💖

What a beautiful life I/we have created for ourselves! We have made a home in a beautiful part of the world, found a balance between busy and 'unbusy' (this is constantly needing to be changed to keep that balance!!) we have these amazing souls that have graced us with their presence and continue to teach us more about ourselves in a deep way I cannot describe and we live a happy, loving, peace filled life. So the gratitude! Sometimes even with all this, that we haven't been lucky - luck has nothing to do with it - we created it, we made this happen. And it is still easy to forget to be grateful not only for what we have, but for how incredible we are for what we have created. I have made the conscious choice to slow my life and my self down to be able to remember to be grateful. Slowed down enough to see and feel the little nudges that come to remind me to be grateful - so that those nudges don't turn into bigger kicks up the arse that can even become traumatic kicks up the arse. Why? Because I have been there and done that and I CHOOSE to no longer need those kicks. Maybe I will slip up at times, when I do I choose to get on and find a way to find the balance and the gratitude again.

What are you creating your life? No matter what happens in life, there is always something to be grateful for!

This might be a little confronting but please please think about what your putting in and on yours and your family's bodies. Our labelling laws do not require food companies to be completely honest about what is in the food they package.

We shouldn't be eating cereals high in sugar just because they are high in protein and just because a biscuit is dairy free, what else is in that biscuit?? Loads of sugar and preservatives!!

Making the change can be hard, especially when everyone in the family is addicted to the sugar and preservatives, but please please think about the long term affects on yourselves and your children 💖💜💖

Diatomaceous Earth is an algae mineral that is rich in silica. Silica is very good for hair, skin and nail health. D.E. gently cleanses the intestines walls and digestive tract, kills parasites and bugs, increases mineral absorption - as well as being rich in minerals. This is the brand I have used for myself and my family but there are lots out there - you can check them out and see what you like the look of. You can get online or Nature's Choice in Geraldton 😊

Keeping the variety and nutrition up to the family. Pre made chia puddings to make smoothie bowls for the next few days brekky. One with banana and berries and the other, coconut cream. Enhanced with a complete protein powder, acai powder and diatomaceous earth (cos trying to get kids to take DE in a glass of water is not gonna happen!!) Diatomaceous Earth is so great for gut health and healing. Also a natural way to get rid of parasites 😖. Full of minerals to nourish and assists with detoxing in a gentle way.

I will top these chia puddings with some muesli, berries and my homemade meal made from nuts and seeds 😍😍😍

Mornings in our house get a little crazy on the days I work. I am a stickler though for nourishing my family no matter what! So I mixed up a buckwheat pancake batter to ferment this morning and am cooking them up tonight ready for the morning. Such an easy recipe - I replaced the buttermilk with almond milk and used egg replacemer. Throw on some coconut yoghurt and berries in the morning and perfection! Happy kids, happy tummies and I know I have nourished them and given them something they love - good start to my Wednesday already!!

These pancakes are perfect for those who eat a gluten-free diet. A dash of cinnamon plays nicely off of the nutty flavor of the buckwheat.

For everyone baking crumpets and a little unsure about the fermenting and separation - I mixed this up just under 24 hours ago, with this warmer weather you should be finding your batters to be ready in a much shorter time. Once seperated, be sure to get them baked before too long as it will over-do and produce flat, doughy crumpets. If you don't have time right then and there, put it in the fridge and bake within next, no more than 24 hours, bringing it out of the fridge to come to room temperature first.

Happy Crumpet making! 😀
