Just like on the road, ignoring fatigue in life comes at a cost.... Gus and I couldn't miss this message on our morning foray around the neighbourhood. It was like a big slap in the face. ✨

Bowen Therapy supports deep rest and recovery. When you visit for your treatment, allow that. Tune it. Respect yourself and the process. I can just about guarantee you will get off the table feeling a deep sense of restoration, vitality and balance.

The long stretch… Lean in… stretch it out… ✨

When you hold a stretch, you’re not just working muscles — you’re nourishing your fascia, the connective tissue that wraps and supports your whole body. Gentle, sustained stretching helps keep fascia hydrated, supple, and resilient and supports restoration.

Gentle, long stretching coupled with deep, intentional breaths communicate to your central nervous system asking for a shift into a calmer, more relaxed state, easing tension, improving circulation, and inviting your body to release stress it’s been holding.

Breathe deep, be still, and let the magic happen. 💜

Appreciating the (Extra) Ordinary ✨

“I don’t think I appreciate my legs enough,” he said.
“How so?” I asked.
“When I was a kid, I was in a traumatic accident that left me with a serious leg injury. I was faced with the real possibility of losing my leg. Now, 40 years on, I walk, jump, climb—and rarely stop to think how lucky I am to have it. I take it for granted.”

I loved this conversation. What a revelation!

It sparked reflection on my own experience and how often I acknowledge the (extra) ordinary things—the mundane, the minute, the tedious, and the joyous. The everyday moments I’m quietly grateful for.

In my gratitude journaling, I often reflect on my abilities and senses: my morning walks (currently under a starry sky), the cold air on my skin, the morning smells, the sunrise, and the happiness radiating from my dog, Gus. What’s not to be grateful for?

Then there’s my morning long black, a pot of tea (or two), fresh sheets, a friendly hello from a stranger, a nourishing home-cooked meal, that first quiet minute when the day’s jobs are done… I have deep appreciation for the (extra) ordinary.

How do you reflect on the everyday nitty-gritty of your life? I’d love to hear—share below! 💜

One-month post-holiday — as the red dirt stains begin to fade and the inner warmth of the campfire I’ve been holding in my spirit starts to cool — I find myself wondering: How do we hold on to the softening, the spaciousness, and the love we bring home from holidays?

It’s easy to slip back into the hum of work, school runs, endless emails, and that familiar rush of life at full tilt. But maybe we don’t have to let the glow fade completely. Maybe we can choose small ways to weave the essence of those slow, connected moments into our everyday rhythm.

Here are a few gentle reminders I’ve been leaning into:
🌄 Create a Photo Carousel — Not just to flick through but to feel through. Choose photos that spark a memory of how you felt — calm, open, joyful, adventurous — and let them remind you to pause and reconnect with that feeling each time you see them. Upload them to your laptop and phone home screens or better still, print them out.

🌬️ Breathe with Intention — Whether it’s a simple inhale at the kitchen sink or a slow exhale in traffic, invite in the spacious breath you felt in your favourite holiday spot. Let your breath anchor you back to that soft, slow place within.

📝 Journal to Reimagine the Everyday — What if the school lunch prep or Monday meeting could be seen through softer eyes? Write about how you might carry the holiday energy into daily tasks. Not as an escape, but as a shift in how you approach the ordinary.

🤎 Take Time to Remember the Feeling — A quiet cup of tea, a walk without your phone, a song that transports you back. Let yourself connect — not to the moment itself, but to how you felt in it. That feeling is still yours to return to and can be kept in spirit indefinitely.

Softening isn’t something we leave behind in the red dirt or beside a fading campfire. It’s something we can carry — gently, intentionally — back into the rhythm of daily life.

Sometimes the deepest healing happens when we stop trying so hard. ✨

During your Bowen Therapy session, give yourself full permission to relax — to let it be, let it go, and allow your body the space it needs to restore and realign. This is a time for non-striving… a time to soften, breathe, and surrender to the natural rhythms within.

JUNE CLOSURE REMINDER 🧡

Hey beautiful community — just a gentle reminder that Life in Rhythm will be closed for the month of June as we head off on a big, dusty, moonlit adventure to Uluru, Purnululu and Rubibi (Broome) ✨

This trip has been a long-time dream, and I am beyond excited to be finally making it happen. I’ll be offline and off-grid for most of the time, so if you need anything before I go, now’s the time to reach out.

Bookings are open for July onwards, and I can’t wait to return with a full heart, fresh energy, and maybe even a few stories from the red centre 🧡

Thanks for your patience and support — I’m beyond grateful to do this work, and to be able to take time to refill my soul with red-dirt, night sky and country. 🌿

Big love,
Belinda
