Hub Cap's Literacy Program – Relaunch 📚

Originally launched in 2022 as part of Hub Cap, our Literacy Program is back — now fully funded thanks to the generous support of Community Bank Geraldton

Designed for men facing significant life barriers, the program builds confidence, healing and personal growth through improved literacy.

There are no tests, no classrooms and no pressure — just one-on-one support in a relaxed, welcoming space, tailored to each individual.

The program recommences on 6 March 2026, 12pm at The Men’s Hub, 156 Durlacher St, led by Matthew Aitchison.

Exciting things are happening in our Literacy Room! ✨

We’re thrilled to share a sneak peek of the incredible transformation underway. Our talented artists are turning the space into a sensory-rich, creative environment designed to inspire, calm and connect.

Once complete, it will be a beautiful place to unwind, slow down and truly immerse yourself in the experience.

The Men’s Hub Tree is beginning to take shape on one wall — and trust us, you’ll want to pay close attention to the leaves… 👀🍃

We can’t wait to reveal the finished space. Stay tuned for more updates!

✨We are proud to announce that 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐇𝐮𝐛 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 at the 2025 Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry- MWCCI Business Excellence Awards, held on Saturday night.

The Men’s Hub is a wholistic wellbeing and mental health service available to men from all backgrounds and walks of life. We are incredibly proud of the innovated approaches used at the Hub when working with men, as we acknowledged that the ‘traditional’ way of doing things doesn’t always work, and this award is testament to the success we are having.

🎄 Wanted: A Volunteer Santa for Christmas Day 🎄

Ho, Ho, Ho! We need YOU to help make Christmas magical!
Every year, we host a Christmas Day Lunch for those who are alone or in need, and this year we’re missing one very important guest… Santa Claus!
We’re looking for a kind-hearted volunteer to step into the big red suit and bring joy, laughter, and a sprinkle of Christmas magic to children (and adults!) at our celebration.

✨ What’s involved?
- Handing out small gifts and spreading cheer
- Sharing a few hearty “Ho Ho Ho’s”
- Making Christmas unforgettable for kids who might otherwise miss out
- No need to worry about the costume — we’ll provide the full Santa outfit

🎁 Why volunteer?
Because sometimes the greatest gift is simply showing up with a smile. You’ll be the star of the day, creating memories that last a lifetime.

📅 When: Christmas Day, 25th of December 2025
📍 Where: QE11 Seniors Centre, Lower Hall
⏰ Time:12.45pm – 1.30pm
