We are delighted that the Centacare Men’s Hub is a nominee for the upcoming Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry- MWCCI Business Excellence Awards.

For anyone not familiar; The Men’s Hub is a mental health and wellbeing centre, which opened in the year 2019, and is tailored specifically to the needs of men in our community. It provides a range of programs and services aimed at attracting and engaging men from all backgrounds, and with the goals of wholistically increasing mental health, wellbeing, and social connectiveness.

One of the true challenges in supporting men is breaking down the stigma associated with them asking for help. Last year more than 3,300 men benefited from the support and programs available at the Men’s Hub, showing this approach can, and does, work.
