We had a fantastic time in our art group last week, with the guys getting creative and producing some great pieces. Our art group meets every week on a Wednesday, a relaxed space to make art, share conversations, and enjoy some fun together.

✨We are proud to announce that 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐇𝐮𝐛 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 at the 2025 Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry- MWCCI Business Excellence Awards, held on Saturday night.

The Men’s Hub is a wholistic wellbeing and mental health service available to men from all backgrounds and walks of life. We are incredibly proud of the innovated approaches used at the Hub when working with men, as we acknowledged that the ‘traditional’ way of doing things doesn’t always work, and this award is testament to the success we are having.

🎄 Wanted: A Volunteer Santa for Christmas Day 🎄

Ho, Ho, Ho! We need YOU to help make Christmas magical!
Every year, we host a Christmas Day Lunch for those who are alone or in need, and this year we’re missing one very important guest… Santa Claus!
We’re looking for a kind-hearted volunteer to step into the big red suit and bring joy, laughter, and a sprinkle of Christmas magic to children (and adults!) at our celebration.

✨ What’s involved?
- Handing out small gifts and spreading cheer
- Sharing a few hearty “Ho Ho Ho’s”
- Making Christmas unforgettable for kids who might otherwise miss out
- No need to worry about the costume — we’ll provide the full Santa outfit

🎁 Why volunteer?
Because sometimes the greatest gift is simply showing up with a smile. You’ll be the star of the day, creating memories that last a lifetime.

📅 When: Christmas Day, 25th of December 2025
📍 Where: QE11 Seniors Centre, Lower Hall
⏰ Time:12.45pm – 1.30pm

International Men’s Day 2025 – A Night to Remember

What an incredible evening at the Geraldton Surf Life Saving Function Centre! Over 120 guests joined us to celebrate Resilience, Identity, Courage, and Purpose - and the room was filled with connection, laughter, and heartfelt moments.

From a soulful Welcome to Country by Kathleen Councillor to powerful performances by The Fine Tunas, Darcy Hay, and Lachlan (Smiley) Adam, the night was rich with emotion and meaning. Peter Nelson inspired with his story of resilience and Peter Rowsthorn had us laughing and reflecting in equal measure.

Thank you to our amazing sponsors Rio Tinto and Triple M Geraldton , and to every volunteer, performer, and guest who made the night so special. The Men’s Hub is proud to keep building a stronger, more connected Geraldton one conversation at a time.

It was a pleasure to host Jessica Stojkovski MLA, Minister for Child Protection and the Prevention of Family Violence, and Sandra Carr MLC, here at the Men's Hub.

We are very proud of the great work being done and take every opportunity to speak about the success of our wholistic support model that welcomes men from all backgrounds and walks of life.

Did you know that the Men's Hub was founded on the premise of addressing the needs of men in the Midwest across six key domains? These are:

🧑To reinforce positive gender stereotypes, and provide positive male role modeling.
🧑To improve mental health and wellbeing of men.
🧑To improve physical health of men.
🧑To improve fathering and grandfathering skills.
🧑To foster social inclusion and community connection for men.
🧑To raise disability awareness and promote inclusion.
