This is a short version of how I was introduced to Reiki. In 1992 I was living in Cairns with my husband and children. At that time Cairns was a very spiritual city. I delved into tarot reading, crystal healing, astrology, past life regressions, mediumship the lot. It was all wonderful and I loved it. I was in a spiritual bookshop one day browsing for anything new and exciting when I noticed a poster. It was advertising a Reiki seminar coming to Cairns. I did some research on Reiki then went back and signed up for the 1st degree attunement. Best thing I ever did. I had a fantastic weekend as there were so many of us they ran it over two days. The energy in the room was electric. I will never forget it. A year later I had both my children who were only 10 and 11 at the time given there Reiki 1 attunements. The thing with Reiki is it dosn't matter if you don't use it for years once you've recieved the attunement it is there for you to use for life. So as you can see I've decided to take it a step further and use what I have learned over the years to help and empower others. LOVE LIGHT AND SUNSHINE.
