ATLAS Provides a Range of Services and Products to People Living with a Disability Atlas (Access To Leisure And Sport Inc.) It is how it feels to get involved.

is a public benevolent non-profit charity organization. We are based in Geraldton, Western Australia and have been serving the community since 2003. We work to increase people with disabilities access and inclusion in community. Access is about making the physical facilities suitable for all people to be able to participate

Inclusion is about the culture of a group or organization. Whether you feel welcome and able to get involved in areas that interest you to your full capacity. To achieve improvements in access and inclusion we work both with people with disabilities and with organisers and developers directly. This two way process is designed to bring people together to enable better decisions about how we make a better community now and in the future. We don't run programs, we help people to get involved in what-ever is happening in the community.

🙌 As we come to the end of 2025, we’re feeling grateful for another meaningful year with our community!

🤩 Some of our highlights from the year include the continuing success of the Beyond the Shores Sailability program, ATLAS golf mornings with Dan, Ultimate Watersports mornings, Spinout Wheelchair Basketball, bush walks, the opening of the ATLAS Loft, and so much more. It’s been a year full of connection, adventure, and moments to remember!

🎄✨ What a night to remember!
ATLAS Participants and Leisure Buddies had the best time celebrating at our Christmas party before heading out on a festive lights tour around town. So many laughs, smiles, and magical moments!

🤩 A massive shoutout and thank you to Kids Hub Training & Consultancy - Empowering Educators and Families and Geraldton Sporting AC (GSAC) for loaning your buses out to our team for the ATLAS Christmas party and lights tour! We couldn't have done it without your amazing generosity 🫶

⭐ A big thank you to Leisure Buddies Graham and Perry for your expert driving skills and knowing exactly where all the amazing Christmas lights were!

🏐 Volleyball morning fun!
Our ATLAS Participants and Leisure Buddies had an awesome time playing beach volleyball! Friendly competition, lots of laughs, and some seriously impressive saves made for a great morning.

🎉 ♿ Today we celebrate International Day of People with Disability!
International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is held on the 3rd of December each year. It is a day to raise community awareness, understanding and acceptance of the 5.5 million people with disability in Australia.

🤲 This year's theme is Fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress. The theme encourages our communities to work together to make society fairer and respect the rights of people with disability. True progress happens when everyone is included 🫶

🧡 ATLAS recognises and celebrates this day and we will continue our commitment to increasing access and inclusion for people with disabilities within the Mid West community.
