What a great team at the Gerringong Pharmacy! It was a real delight to call in today and find out the latest and all the ways they are supporting people in the community. From medication, Webster packs, immunisations, advice and more, pharmacies are a real trusted hub for people.
And, the terrific news is that from 1 January 2026 the maximum cost of a PBS script will be lowered to $25. Pharmacist Glenn told me how much a difference this will make for people.
Thanks to all our pharmacists and pharmacy workers right across our region.

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our pharmacy team. This is an excellent entry-level position, perfect for a recent school leaver looking for a great opportunity to complete a certificate 3 in pharmacy assistance!
Key Responsibilities ✅
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Manage stock inventory and maintenance
• Prepare medication packs
• Assist with pharmacy cleaning and organisation
• Support medication dispensing processes
• Conduct local deliveries
What We're Looking For 🗣️
The ideal candidate will:

• Have outstanding communication skills
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for customer care

As we welcome the warmer weather of spring, now's the perfect time to give your medicine cabinet a good clear-out. Just like our sheds and garages, our medicine cabinets can get cluttered and confusing, especially when we're not sure what's in there or when we last used something.

At Gerringong Pharmacy, we see a lot of patients coming in with expired or unused medications, which can be a waste and even a safety risk.

Take some time this weekend to go through your medicine cabinet, sort out what you need to keep, and what's past its use-by date. Don't worry if you're not sure what to do with something – our pharmacists are here to help you sort it out. We can also give you some tips on how to store your medications safely and correctly.
