It's been a bit quiet over here... I've been busy dreaming up some new workshops for this year!!

The first one is for the City of Swan, and we've named it 'Storylines'.. Stitching parts of your story on a panel that can be hung up, displayed on a table, sewn into a pouch or tucked away in a drawer, totally up to you!

When: 14th February
Time: 10am - 1pm
Where: Old Midland Courthouse

As the year is coming to an end, I’d like to share something pretty cool with you!

I’ve created a FREE *End of Year Journal* to support you to pause, reflect on the year that has been, and clarify your visions forward.

It takes you through a number of thoughtful steps to help you acknowledge what this year has held, release what’s ready to be left behind, and listen to what wants to emerge next.

This is not about pushing into the new year, but about creating space, honesty, and intention as you cross the threshold.

Feel free to move through it in your own time, return to it when needed, or share it with someone who might appreciate a moment of reflection.

I look forward to running my next free therapeutic art workshop on Saturday August 16th at the Ballajura Library.

In this reflective session, we are creating a three-panel shrine to explore our journey: where we’ve come from, where we are, and what’s calling us forward.

The image below shows a shrine-like triptych that we will be basing our art piece on. Yours will be similar, but different.

That’s what we do inside heART Maps.

It’s really not about being ‘good’ at art but about using colour, shape, and symbol to explore what’s stirring beneath the surface. To reconnect with what matters. To feel more you.

Simple art journaling supplies are often the best ❤︎

Yes, you can certainly spend hundreds of dollars on art materials if that is what you want to do, and your budget allows!

However when we get into art journaling, the process can flow just as well (possibly even better!) using old magazine cut outs, some washi tape, discarded cards, a few sparkles and a box of paints.

I’ve started collecting materials for the upcoming Visions Forward Retreat. Absolutely in love with these fibres from

The focus of the retreat is on all aspects of identity. Through the creative process itself as well as by infusing and unpacking what we create, we answer questions like:

Who am I? Who am I at this stage of my life? How do I navigate the tension between who I am and who I want to be - who I meant to be?
How do I come closer to understanding my spiritual purpose?

Who am I at the core of my being? How have past experiences shaped the woman I am today? What is the path forward that allows me to shine?

The answers and insights will be unique, like each and every one of us. Which means we will need lots of different materials and textures to be able to find this expression for ourselves.

We use mainly natural materials, because they come closest to our natural essence.

The best thing is that you’ll be guided by expert therapists, healers and artists and you don’t have to do it alone.
