A special day in many parts of the world. It is called Shri Ganesha Jayanti. It is a day to celebrate the universal qualities of innocence, wisdom and auspiciousness. These qualities are born with every human being at the first, or root, centre of the subtle energy system called the Mooladhara Chakra. It is represented in tradition as the form of the eternal child (innocence) with the head of the elephant (wisdom) and four arms to represent the four main aspects (petals).
