🏇 Melbourne Cup Office Closure 🏆

Hi everyone,

Please note that Connecting Staff will be closed on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th of November for the Melbourne Cup long weekend.

We’ll reopen as normal on Wednesday 5th November. Support will continue as usual.

A huge THANK YOU to all our wonderful friends of Connecting Staff and our amazing support workers for making our Halloween Party such a fantastic success! 🧡🖤

The costumes were incredible, the laughs were endless, and the sense of community was truly special. 🥰 Events like this remind us how lucky we are to have such an awesome team and supportive families around us.

Now Welcoming New Participants

Supported Independent Living in the Macedon Ranges.

Connecting Staff is excited to offer one more participant in our spacious, vibrant Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in beautiful Macedon Ranges.

We provide 24/7 personalised support in a warm, welcoming environment designed to help participants feel safe, build independence, and enjoy life.

What’s On Offer:
• Around the clock care tailored to your individual needs
• A large, home with two living areas, set on half an acre
• Fun and inclusive activities, including:
• Group cooking sessions - learn new skills and enjoy meals together
• Game nights – board games, trivia, PlayStation and more
• Footy nights – AFL and NRL on the big screen
• Movie marathons, music nights, and arts & crafts
• Regular BBQs and community outings
• Support with daily living tasks, goal setting and life skills

We offer more than just support, we create a home environment where participants can thrive and feel part of a close knit community.

Eligibility:
Participants must have SIL (Supported Independent Living) funding in their NDIS plan for 1:1 or 1:2 support, or be actively working towards this.

Connecting Staff are passionate in supporting children, young people, adults and their families. Our philosophy is to recognise the impact of social and structural forces on children, young people and adults, so that our practice is responsive to children, young people’s & adults experiences and needs and to break down barriers that restrict life opportunities. We will cooperate and collaborate with others in order to secure the best possible outcomes for all. We will seek the opportunities to collaborate with colleagues and professionals from other sectors or agencies, to work together collectively on issues of common concern. We are not an NDIS registered provider - so participants need to self-manage or plan-manage plans in order to purchase services from us using their NDIS funds.
