Qualia Occupational Therapy

Supporting development and enhancing participation from early childhood to high school We all love working with families and children.

Qualia Occupational Therapy for Children has been operating since 2010 in the Inner West of Sydney. Qualia (pronounced kwa–li–ah) is a theory explaining how unique individuals each perceive the world differently in relation to their sensory, emotional and environmental influences. All Qualia therapists have had paediatric experience before joining our team and participate in regular professional development. Our dynamic team offers extensive experience, practical skills and empathy when working with children. We assist children with motor and learning difficulties from preschool through to high school. Qualia offers comprehensive assessments based on areas of concern identified by a child, parents or teachers. Therapy is meaningful, addressing areas that are most important to a child and their family.

Our Get Ready for School program is designed to develop your childs ability to follow instructions, develop pre-writing skills and pencil grasp ✏️, gross motor skills, ability to sit at the table 🪑, join in group activities and social interaction. 🧠 👁️

Our term group is running on two days, Monday or Thursday morning. We can’t wait to see you there !

We were delighted to receive our order from our friends at Sound Slam just in time for a few rounds before the end of term! 🙌 We’ve been trialling this incredible game for a little while now and are so impressed with how we can modify the way we play to create fun & learning for kids of all ages and stages… what a win🏅 ! If there is one thing OTs love, it’s learning through play. If you are in need of a last minute stocking filler 🎅 look no further.. 👀 Ps.
