Hello Gladstone!
I am a new support worker to the region, qualified & have relative cards/insurance. Currently have up to date NDIS clearance, Yellow card, Insurance & brand new vehicle for transportation.
I have learnt so much, gained so much knowledge & understanding around people living with disabilities since becoming a support worker.
Experiences I bring to the table with my independence;
- Working a lot with ABI & TBI
- Understanding mental health
- Helping clients reach their goals & dreams under their NDIS plans.
- Have worked alongside mental health clients
- Experience with children and adults with the following; ADHD, BPD, ADD, Autism and behavioural disabilities.
- Lots of experience with intellectual disabilities.
- Can work with clients who have mobility concerns. (Wheelchairs, Walkers etc.)
- Transporting clients too and from appointments.
- Respite & STA experience
- Cleaning services
- House keeping - Cooking, Organisation, Lawns etc.
