π UNDERSTANDING TRAUMA PROGRAM π
The Understanding Trauma Information Workshop is a gentle, information-based session designed to help participants better understand what trauma is, how it can affect the brain and nervous system (NS), and why trauma-informed support can be so important. The workshop offers clear, compassionate education about trauma responses and nervous system care (NS care), supporting participants to make sense of their experiences with greater understanding and self-kindness.
It also introduces the Three-Stage Model of Trauma Recovery developed by Judith Herman β Safety and Stabilisation, Processing, and Reconnection β to provide a simple framework for how healing often unfolds over time.
This workshop is psychoeducational in nature. It does not provide individual therapy or practical skills training, but is designed to increase awareness and gently encourage participants to consider appropriate counselling support if they feel it would benefit their healing journey.
Join us in a welcoming and safe space to explore:
β¨ What is trauma?
β¨ How does it impacts us?
β¨ What are some strategies for healing and growth?
