Born right here in Rockhampton, Cat joins our Pelvic Fix team in 2024 after having worked the past five years in the UK's NHS for the Oxford University Hospital's Women’s and Men’s Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Department.
After being “locked out” during the pandemic, Cat has now returned home to warmer pastures!
Cat graduated from The University of Queensland in 2001 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Not long afterwards, she found her way to Darwin where she spent just shy of 10 years working with the Australian Defence Force, identifying a need for individualised pelvic floor management in fit and athletic female Defence Force personnel. She then completed her Graduate Certificate in Continence and Women’s Health from Curtin University of Technology in 2009. She has also completed a Masters in Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy from La Trobe University in 2014.
In 2018 Cat moved to the UK, where she began expanding her skills to include the management of chronic pelvic pain, dyspareunia and urological dysfunction. During the height of the pandemic, she assisted in providing ongoing support to obstetrics and gynaecology patients via remote telephone and video consultations.
Cat believes in a strong patient focus, involving YOU in the process and empowering you to take control of your recovery.
