***OUR SERVICES AND COMMITMENT***

- BULK BILL ($0 out of pocket) to our seniors over 70 for scopes and other procedures done in hospital and all initial consultations and follow ups.

- ALL returning patients regardless of age, who are due for another Endoscopy and/or Colonoscopy within five years will be charged a $0 out of pocket fee for the procedure.

- LOW out of pocket fees for all other other procedures whether in office or in hospital.

- In office vasectomies, skin cancers/flaps, circumcisions, haemorrhoid treatment and many other procedures.

- Other procedures done in a PRIVATE Hospital in Rockhampton or Bundaberg with flexibility in choosing your procedure date, time and anaesthetist.

- Travel and accommodation reimbursement.

- Guaranteed to be seen and have your procedure done within 2 weeks.

- A locally residing experienced surgeon who you can access anytime in person before or after your procedure.

- Telehealth consultations for anyone who cannot travel for an appointment regardless of where they live (Bulk Billed).

- OPEN ACCESS Colonoscopy for all patients who meet the criteria, meaning no initial consultation and booked straight for the procedure.

- Subspecialst in Thyroid, Parathyroid and Breast Surgery with over 13 years experience.

GESA or Gastroenterology Society of Australia is the governing board on guidelines for follow up surveillance colonoscopy after polyps are detected.

The guidelines are followed by most clinicians in Australia.

If you have been told that you have polyps, it is important to know the number, size and type of polyps to determine the interval for your next colonoscopy.

** EARLY DETECTION SAVES LIVES **

If you are over 45, the government will send you this kit for bowel cancer screening for occult (invisible) blood in the stools.

If you don’t receive a kit, your GP can arrange one for you free of charge.

If you have a strong family history of colon or re**al cancer, you may need a colonoscopy at a younger age rather than a stool test at age 45 and your GP will advise you.

Bowel cancer is curable if detected early, so don’t wait for symptoms which may be too late - get a screening test.
