From the moment he joined us, he brought energy, authenticity, and a genuine passion for working alongside young people in our community.

While we’re sad to see him go, we are incredibly proud to see him step into his next chapter as a First Nations Teachers Aide within the local region!! Thank you for everything you’ve brought to headspace and our Gladstone community Lachy.

Fun fact 📷Lachy is a big fan of our Roseberry Qld and headspace CEO’s - Here is some of his fav pics

We’d like to say a big thank you to Gladstone State High School for inviting us to be part of their Culture Fest, we were honoured to be hosting a stall on the day. A wonderful celebration of students and families, with culture so generously shared across the school and wider community. Supporting Your Neurodivergent Young Person: Adult Supporting Young People Chat on April 1st at 6:30pm to 9:45pm AEDT.

If your young person identifies as neurodivergent, they may have experiences that differ from those of neurotypical young people. Supporting their mental health and wellbeing can involve unique considerations and, for some young people, may require different approaches.

Join our free online text-based group chat to share experiences and explore strategies with other adults navigating similar experiences.

Our team had the absolute privilege this week of attending the Lions Club of Boyne Island dinner meeting to share information about our work at Roseberry Qld and headspace Gladstone. We got to witness the absolute best of our community with several members receiving long service awards on the night totaling 125 years of service. What a huge achievement.

Lions have generously donated $1,500 to Roseberry Qld and $500 to headspace. We can't thank them enough for their generosity.

Are you 14 to 21 and part of the LGBTIQA+ community? Your voice matters.

In Our Words is Australia’s longest-running LGBTIQA+ youth survey and it’s all about hearing directly from young people about their experiences, needs, and what better support can look like. By sharing your story, you can help shape services, programs, and change for your community.

If this sounds like you, now’s a great time to have your say. 💚
