Through Coaching, Gentle Scar Therapy, and Myotherapy, I help you transform scars — seen and unseen — into empowerment and wholeness. ✨ About Me:
Hi my name’s Rebekah, but my clients, friends and family all call me Bec, I’m a Myotherapist Glass House Mountains. I love helping people to move better and feel incredible through Massage, Myotherapy, Pilates and Zen Thai Shiatsu Massage, which is a wonderful fusion of traditional Thai Massage, Zen Shiatsu (Chinese Accupressure) and Osteopathic techniques. Zen Thai Shiatsu Massage is like me taking your body through yoga, creating space in your body, mind and soul to feel more relaxed, flexible, calm and at peace, it’s just bliss to be honest! I specialize in helping people who experience TMJ Dysfunction, facial pain, teeth grinding, clenching and headaches. Myotherapy bridges the gap between Remedial Massage and Physiotherapy through:
• Education
• Movement and exercise therapy
• Massage
• Cupping
• Dry Needling
• Hot Stone Massage and
• Joint Mobilisations
I have 5 years experience as a Remedial Therapist, plus 3 years experience as a Myotherapist, gaining my qualifications through Qacademy in Maroochydore and working for the first 2 to 3 years of my career under the wing of an amazing Physiotherapist in Caloundra. I now run my own business in Beerwah and am currently studying to become a Personal Trainer at the College of Health and Fitness in North Lakes. What I have noticed the 3 major problems most of my clients face are:
1. Locking of the jaw joint, making it hard to open or close your mouth;
2. Tight muscles of the face, head, neck and shoulders which can lead to tenderness of the face and jaw, severe, constant headaches and poor overall posture;
3. Lack of energy as a result of poor quality of sleep and sleep disturbances due to pain, jaw clenching and/or grinding. I believe with all my heart that we can all be resilient, strong, flexible, healthy human beings body, mind and soul and I believe in setting an amazing example for our children to follow. I believe that we need to be the change we want to see in the world, so that our beautiful children and generations to come thrive in a world that is thriving, not just surviving.
