These beautiful kittens had a tough start but are life is a constant battle from native predictors and humans, stuck on a mine site a friend of mine and his friends are keeping them alive with food and water. Their mother died protecting them as babies from dingos and a massive guanna have already eaten two when they were so little. They find refuge under the office “donga” where the dingoes and guana cannot reach them. They deserve a fighting chance……SAFE said they will take them but they need to be at a vet. An Ashburton ranger I reached out to said he can help pick them up and leave traps for my friend to set to get them. Fingers crossed it all works out….. I can’t bear the thought of them being eaten or torn to shred by dingoes. They are not domesticated so I hope this is the next challenge SAFE can tackle, it first Travis will need to trap them next week when he is back on site..:::. I hope it all works out well. I’m feeling a little nervous. All I did was make the calls,….. next steps are up to the ranger and ❤️ please send good vibes, love and energy to these babies for their safety and the best outcome for them all.
