Too much vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) may lead to nerve damage – especially in your hands or feet. B6 toxicity usually comes from high-dose supplements (over 200mg/day), most often after weeks/months of use – not food.
Who's most at risk?
➡️ People taking multiple B6 supplements, B-complex, or energy drinks
➡️ Some adults may be more sensitive (differences in metabolism play a role)
➡️ Women, older adults, and those with kidney/liver issues may also be vulnerable
🚨 Nerve warning signs:
❗️ Tingling
❗️ Numbness
❗️ Burning sensation
❗️ Loss of balance
If you get these symptoms, talk to your GP! Early action helps!
