As our business continues to expand, so do our capabilities. We’re excited to announce that we are now offering AV semen collection at our Rockhampton Centre.

Earlier this year George completed bovine AV semen collection training at Xcell Breeding Services Ltd in New Zealand. Rocky Repro now has the facilities and equipment to offer this specialised service.

Wise Repro is focused on combining the best techniques for maximum results and efficiency with the extra care and attention we’re known for. Thanks to the generosity of our friends across the ditch, the newly acquired skills are already benefiting the Australian cattle industry.

WiseRepro out and about! 🐂

It was fantastic catching up with clients and a range of industry representatives in both Tamworth and Toowoomba for the Wagyu Workshops over the past couple of weeks. Congratulations to Australian Wagyu Association on two very successful events, we cant wait for the next one!

Great conversations were had around capabilities, upcoming plans & projects, and the fast-approaching bull sale & breeding season.

The Wise Repro team found both workshops incredibly insightful — it’s always valuable to stay on the pulse of innovation and hear about breed direction so we can continue adapting our services to suit.

We’re now off to Brisbane for the EKKA this week, then heading to Emerald for another Wagyu Workshop on 26th August. If you're attending or spot anyone from the Wise Repro family, make sure to come say hi!

Team Bonding at its Best!

Last month, the Wise Repro team traded the gloves for running shoes and hit the pavement at the Gold Coast Marathon!
Aline, Ced, and Elias took on the 10km run, Emma smashed the Half Marathon, and Aaron showed us all up by completing the Full Marathon — an incredible achievement!

We’re so proud of our team for pushing boundaries both inside and outside the lab. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💪

🌎 Covering all corners of the globe

The WiseRepro team continues to cover all corners of the globe — staying at the forefront of technology and innovation in cattle reproduction.
Most recently, Lincoln McKinlay returned from the USA, where he joined a Breeder Genetics tour visiting key cattle operations and reproduction centres across Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, and Montana.

This tour provided valuable insights into the American beef industry and showcased some outstanding operations & facilities — helping us identify new opportunities and best practices to support our operations and ultimately servicing our clients at home.

A few weeks ago, Ced, Rowena and Aaron Wise, together with Chris Miller, had the privilege of attending Minitube Bovine TechDays at Minitube’s headquarters in Tiefenbach, Germany.
From insightful lectures on the latest in bovine reproduction — with a focus on semen analysis — to hands-on workshops trialling new software and equipment soon to hit the market, it was an incredible experience.

A tour of Minitube’s impressive facilities showcased their unwavering commitment to innovation, research & development, and quality assurance — reaffirming why they’re global leaders in ART products and equipment.
We’re proud of our 40+ year partnership with Minitube, who continue to be a trusted supplier of our laboratory equipment and synchronisation supplies. A heartfelt thanks to the Simmet family, Minitube International, and Dan Hollingworth & Megan O’Brien of Minitube Australia for your warm hospitality and generosity.

Ced, Rowena & Aaron also made a special stop in the Netherlands to reconnect with former team member Meggy Bruynen and had the pleasure of meeting her family. Meggy now works with one of the largest bovine semen production companies in the Netherlands, K.I. Samen and during the visit Meggy organised a tour of facility with COO, Gerard Scheepens.

This week Aaron & Lyndal Wise attended the 4th annual Australian Agricultural Company Dolly's Dream fundraising long lunch in Brisbane, and what an incredible event it was!

On a beautiful sunny afternoon, surrounded by likeminded people it was a great reminder to show kindness and be compassionate to everyone.

To hear how supportive the foundation is of young people is truly inspiring to our family and business as we help raise the next generation.

🎉 We’re excited to announce that Sam Parish is back with us! 🙌

We first had the privilege of working with a young Sam in 2020 during his gap year where he made valuable contributions at our Glen Aplin reproduction centre and with our Glenisa Angus stud. Since then, a lot has changed for our business and for Sam. He’s explored various roles in the agricultural industry, including a position with KMWL livestock agents in Forbes, and most recently, he has been with Cattle Australia as a Membership & Sponsorship Officer, helping to drive impressive growth for this newly formed organisation.

🎙️ On top of that, Sam is the host of the globally successful seedstock podcast, Breeder Exchange Podcast where he uncovers the stories of sires within the Breeder Genetics Program.

👏 Now, we’re thrilled to have Sam back as a Project Support Officer. In this role, he’ll be working closely with our team to help implement our current activities, particularly those related to systems and operational processes. Additionally, he will contribute to our business development in the southern region, collaborating closely with our Business Development team, Lincoln McKinlay and Kimberley Dove.
