Let’s talk spine. 🦴
In our latest blog, we break down the anatomy of the spine — how it works, what causes back pain, and how physiotherapy can help you move and feel better every day.

Your spine does more than just keep you upright. It protects your spinal cord, supports your posture, and allows you to move with ease. But when issues like poor posture, herniated discs, or stiff joints creep in, things can quickly become uncomfortable.

The good news? Back pain doesn’t have to be your new normal. 🙌
Physiotherapy can help relieve pain, improve mobility, and build long-term strength and support for your spine.

2025 marks 50 years of NAIDOC!

This year’s theme, “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy,” celebrates not only the achievements of the past but also the bright future ahead—empowered by the strength of young leaders, the vision of community, and the enduring legacy of ancestors.

Our physiotherapist Lauren is a proud Njamal woman from Port Hedland in the Pilbara, with a deep connection to Country. She embodies this year’s theme through her strength, resilience, and the cultural legacy of her people.

As a First Nations health professional, Lauren is passionate about delivering culturally safe and inclusive care, and about strengthening the voice and presence of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the health space.

As we reflect on this year’s NAIDOC theme, we’re honoured to share a glimpse into Lauren’s story—check out these beautiful photos of her and her family on Country and gain a deeper insight into her culture. 🌾🖤💛❤️

Tight muscle? Tender spot that hurts when pressed? 👇 You might be dealing with a trigger point.
These small but mighty knots can cause big pain in different areas of the body. 😣
🎯 What are they?
Trigger points are hyperirritable spots in muscle fibres caused by stress, posture, strain, or injury.
They can lead to pain, stiffness, and limited mobility.
🛠️ How do we treat them in physio?
✅ Massage therapy
✅ Dry needling
✅ Exercise-based rehab
✅ Heat therapy
👩‍⚕️ Physios assess, diagnose, and treat the root cause.
Early treatment = faster relief and better long-term results.
📅 Struggling with persistent muscle tightness or referred pain?
Book your appointment today and let’s release those knots!
