🌿 RE‑WIRED Launch & Engagement Day - Seniors Festival 2026 ☀️

Seniors are invited to a Seniors Engagement and Launch Event at the Australian Standing Stones, celebrating the start of Seniors Festival 2026 (2–15 March).

What’s on in the morning:
• Gentle, all‑abilities yoga focusing on movement, breath and balance
• Live music and a shared morning tea
• First Nations weaving and yarning circle centred on creativity, storytelling and cultural exchange

This relaxed launch event invites seniors to re‑wire their body, mind and connections before heading into two weeks of festival events hosted by the Glen Innes Highlands Hub and Glen Innes Severn Public & TAFE Library.

Across two weeks, enjoy a wide range of gentle movement, creative workshops, technology and learning sessions, storytelling, and social activities, held at locations across Centennial Parklands, the Glen Innes Highlands Hub, Glen Innes Severn Public & TAFE Library and aged care facilities.

The BreastScreen NSW mobile screening unit is heading to Emmaville and Glen Innes to provide mammograms for local women.

Did you know that breast cancer affects 1 in 7 women in NSW?

Yet 9 out of 10 women who develop it have no family history.

Early detection saves lives – a quick mammogram can find changes before they can be seen or felt, making treatment far more effective.
