At Divine Family Health Centre, we’re raising awareness about ovarian cancer and the importance of early medical review.

In Australia, around 1,900 women are diagnosed each year and over 1,000 lose their lives to this disease. There is currently no reliable screening test — Pap smears and Cervical Screening Tests do not detect ovarian cancer.

If you notice symptoms that are new, unusual for you, and persist for more than a few weeks (such as bloating, pelvic pain, or feeling full quickly), please don’t ignore them.
