Are you constantly asking yourself "why do I feel so gassy?" or "how can I relieve my bloating?"... you are not alone!

Bloating is the feeling of tightness, fullness or visible swelling in your abdomen, and gas is the build up of air in our digestive tract, and they can both lead to pain and discomfort. ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

Symptoms can include:
โ€ข A swollen stomach
โ€ข Excessive burping
โ€ข Frequently passing gas
โ€ข Abdominal cramps
โ€ข Feeling of pressure in your stomach
โ€ข Rumbling or gurgling sounds from your stomach
โ€ข Feeling full even after small meals

There are many potential causes for these symptoms that can be related your diet, hormones, stress levels, gut health or even the way your eat your food.

But don't worry! There are plenty of treatment options available for both short term and long term relief! ๐ŸฅณThese may include include diet changes, exercise and movement, and identifying and avoiding certain triggers.

We are very excited to be welcoming Paige to our Dietetics and Nutrition team. Paige will be treating every Tuesday afternoon and is now taking clients!

Paige is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, and Sports Performance Dietitian. She is currently working as a dietitian at the Essendon Football Club and is a passionate swim coach, coaching competition level athletes.

She enjoys working with all clients and their unique needs - from sports performance, to eating disorders and weight management - to achieve sustainable long-term health and performance goals.
