There are so many ways to decipher between our Ego and our Higher Self. Both are here to guides us through our human journey, however the ego may lead us into perpetual trauma cycles and programmed behaviors while the Higher Self will lead us into the next highest potential for us, the next highest version of us.

They both can sound like voices in our heads, so it can be challenging to navigate. I have listed 8 examples of ways to decipher Ego from Higher Self. There are many more examples but these are easy to distinguish.

Regardless, both the Ego and the Higher Self are assisting you in every moment it's just a matter of learning how to tell them apart.

Tanya is a qualified Hatha and Asthanga Yoga teacher and is the founder of Vedic Yoga. She has completed a diploma and an advanced diploma in Yoga and Ayurveda.

She incorporates the traditional principles of Vedic sciences and weaves stories and yogic philosophy in her classes and workshops. Tanya comes with a background in Finance and Psychology with over 10 years experience in the corporate world.

Her compassionate style of teaching enables her to connect with each student with a primary focus on connecting body movement to breath. She believes that each person has their own unique experience of life and encourages her students to embrace their pace.

Tanya teaches Yoga and Meditation within a variety of setting including corporate offices, community centres, schools as well as one on one yoga therapy sessions. Her classes are designed to leave you feeling uplifted and grounded.
