🧑🏽‍💻 You look like you’re handling everything.
📈 You perform well.
✔️ You get things done.

But your nervous system rarely switches off.

‘High-functioning anxiety’ isn’t recognised as a formal diagnosis but it’s a presentation I often see in high-achieving adults: productivity on the outside, pressure on the inside.

If you recognise yourself here, support is available.

Therapy with me is structured, collaborative, and grounded in psychological science but always attuned to you 🫂

We don’t rush to ‘fix.’
We build safety first.

From there, we explore:
👥 your attachment patterns
⚡️your nervous system responses
🪞your self-worth and boundaries
🌀the patterns that keep repeating

We start with insight.
Then we move toward intentional, evidence-informed change.

If you’re looking for depth, steadiness, and a space where your voice matters feel free to book a session ✨

🔥 Head or heart?
Ever feel torn between what you know 🧠
and what you feel ❤️‍🔥

In DBT, we refer to the 3 minds:

🧠 Reasonable Mind: logic, facts, planning. Facts. logic. planning. Helpful at times… but it can disconnect you from what you need emotionally.
❤️‍🔥Emotion Mind: feelings lead, choices feel urgent. actions come fast
✨ Wise Mind: where logic AND emotion meet

Wise Mind is the grounded middle place that says:
“I can validate what I feel… and choose what helps.” 🔥 Wise mind is where we pause, notice, and respond with intention.

🤍 If this resonates and you’d like support accessing your Wise Mind, you’re welcome to book via the link in bio.

As we reflect on 2025, it can be tempting to measure our worth through external outcomes- how much we accomplished, earned, or achieved.

But what if we measured the inner work instead?
The quiet shifts.
The courage it took to keep choosing growth.

As you look back, notice the resilience threaded through your year.

That counts too.
Deeply.

‘why do I always assume the worst?’

When the mind feels uncertain, it braces for impact by imagining the worst.

Catastrophising isn’t overreacting…it’s protection.

But instead of preparing us, it often pulls us into hypervigilance and disconnects us from the present.

The good news?
With awareness, reframing, and nervous system regulation, this pattern becomes something we can understand, not fear.

You don’t have to stay in the version of life that feels like too much.
There is a gentler rhythm waiting for you…one where your body unwinds, your thoughts settle, and your days feel more like living than coping.

That steadier version of you is real. They’re simply waiting for room to breathe. Therapy can help you make that room.

If this resonated, we’re here to support. Book your session via our website www.asiyapsychology.com.au
