Spring comfort food, but make it skin-friendly đ
This Chicken Ramen Bowl is the kind of meal that feels good and does good for your body. Itâs full of nutrients that quietly support your skin whilst tasting incredible!
⥠Carrots bring beta-carotene (your body turns it into vitamin A) to keep skin functioning well.
⥠Shiitake mushrooms offer antioxidants that help protect against stressors.
⥠Eggs give protein + biotin, which your skin cells need for repair.
⥠A squeeze of lemon adds vitamin C, helping with collagen and overall resilience.
⥠Garlic & ginger keep inflammation in check.
Hereâs the recipe so you can try it yourself âŹď¸
Prep Time: 10 min | Cook Time: 20 min | Serves: 4
Ingredients
1 tbsp avocado oil
1 large yellow onion (diced)
2 medium carrots (grated/julienned)
4 oz shiitake mushrooms (stems removed & sliced)
1 inch k**b ginger (grated)
1/4 cup coconut aminos
6 cups broth of choice
2 cups rotisserie chicken (shredded)
3 cakes ramen noodles
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
2 cloves garlic (minced)
4 large eggs
2 green onions (thinly sliced)
1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Heat avocado oil in a large pot. Add onion, carrots & mushrooms. Cook 5â7 mins until onion softens.
2. Stir in ginger & coconut aminos, cook 1 min.
3. Add broth & chicken. Bring to a boil.
4. Add ramen noodles, cook about 3 mins (per package).
5. Reduce heat, stir in lemon juice & garlic.
For eggs:
Simmer water in a separate pot, gently slide in eggs, cook 3 mins, remove with slotted spoon.
Assemble bowls: soup + egg + sprinkle of green onion & sesame seeds.
Simple, nourishing, and the perfect bowl to enjoy on a spring night.
And while meals like this are a great support, they wonât fix deeper skin imbalances on their own. We totally wish a ramen bowl will solve everything but it wont, you most likely need proper skin guidance and a personalised protocol...
