Matcha chia pudding has entered the breakfast rotation 💭💚
(and here’s why it should be your new breakfast obsession too…)
If matcha is already part of your daily routine, then this is the most convenient breakfast option that also supports your body too (win) 🍀
We love this combo because:
– Chia seeds provide fibre + healthy fats to support digestion and steady blood sugar
– Matcha is gentle, sustained energy + antioxidants without the coffee crash
– Yoghurt adds protein and gut support so you stay full
– Berries bring anti-inflammatory benefits and a pop of freshness
Ingredients
– 2 tbsp chia seeds
– ¾ cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
– ½ tsp high-quality matcha
– Pinch of sea salt
– 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
To serve
– Thick Greek yoghurt or coconut yoghurt
– Fresh berries (fruit of your choice but berries give it that pop)
Method
1. Whisk chia seeds, milk, matcha, salt and maple until smooth.
2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or best overnight.
3. Top with yoghurt and berries before serving.
