Matcha chia pudding has entered the breakfast rotation 💭💚

(and here’s why it should be your new breakfast obsession too…)

If matcha is already part of your daily routine, then this is the most convenient breakfast option that also supports your body too (win) 🍀

We love this combo because:
– Chia seeds provide fibre + healthy fats to support digestion and steady blood sugar
– Matcha is gentle, sustained energy + antioxidants without the coffee crash
– Yoghurt adds protein and gut support so you stay full
– Berries bring anti-inflammatory benefits and a pop of freshness

Ingredients
– 2 tbsp chia seeds
– ¾ cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
– ½ tsp high-quality matcha
– Pinch of sea salt
– 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)

To serve
– Thick Greek yoghurt or coconut yoghurt
– Fresh berries (fruit of your choice but berries give it that pop)

Method
1. Whisk chia seeds, milk, matcha, salt and maple until smooth.
2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or best overnight.
3. Top with yoghurt and berries before serving.

Peaches & Cream Chia Pudding 🍑💭

The kind of breakfast you crave on the hot days… or even a sweet treat to end the night

Barefoot in the kitchen. Fresh peaches on the bench.
Pre-made, no rushing around, just something refreshing, easy, and actually filling!

PSA 📣 chia seeds need a little patience
Mix them with almond milk, vanilla, and a pinch of salt the night before. By morning, they’ll have soaked up the liquid and turned into a creamy, spoonable pudding ready to layer with yoghurt and fruit.

What you’ll need:

Chia base
– 3 tbsp chia seeds
– 1 cup almond milk
– ½ tsp vanilla
– Pinch of sea salt

Creamy layer
– Coconut yoghurt or Greek yoghurt (unsweetened)

On top
– Peaches or nectarines
– A few berries if you have them

Finishing touches
– H**p seeds
– Almond butter or tahini
– Cinnamon
– Tiny drizzle of honey or maple if it feels right

Layer it, don’t overthink it. Eat it slowly, definitely with the morning sun on your skin 🫶

Our hormones influence way more than we realise… 👀

They’re our little messengers; constantly responding to our stress, nourishment, sleep quality, inflammation, blood sugar, gut health, emotional load (the list goes on) 🥹

So if you’ve been noticing a shift up in your cycle which doesn’t feel quite right (timing, flow, pain, PMS, skin flare-ups, mood shifts or energy dips)

These subtle changes are rarely “random” or something to ignore. It’s our feedback from the body!

The menstrual cycle is one of the clearest reflections of what’s happening internally. It mirrors how supported (or unsupported) your nervous system is, how well your body is detoxifying hormones, how resilient your stress response is, and whether your body feels safe enough to function optimally 💁🏼‍♀️

Rather than suppressing symptoms, at healthful we look at why the pattern has shifted:

Our Story

Our vision at Healthful is to create a nourishing environment for women from all walks of life. It is our goal to provide realistic and easy to implement health plans as well as a range of health services to the women of Adelaide as well as now Australia wide. We believe that health is a way of life and we love to encourage each individual to make the steps necessary to achieve their own health goals.

Our Naturopaths, Jacqui and Gemma are here to support you in the best way possible.

Jacqui specialises in symptoms such as peri to post menopause, fibroids, thyroid disorders, endometriosis, PMS and amenorrhoea.

Gemma has a keen interest for gut health, stress related disorders, teenage hormone health, pre- pregnancy support and auto-immune disease.
