Our Glengowrie Fair on 18 April was a wonderful success!
With a beautiful sunny day, residents, families, and friends enjoyed Devonshire Tea, a sausage sizzle, white elephant stall, and a variety of homemade goodies, embroidered and crochet tea towel and dolls, pottery, and plants from Glenice’s garden.
Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the day — it was truly enjoyed by all! 💛

Anzac Day was respectfully commemorated with a Dawn Service held at Glengowrie. We extend our sincere thanks to Bob Whelan and family for leading such a meaningful and solemn service. The gathering was attended by residents and family, who came together to reflect and pay their respects. Following the service, breakfast was thoughtfully prepared by the Resident Committee.

Christmas is a time of love, joy, and togetherness. It reminds us of the importance of family and friends—and here in our retirement village, we are more than neighbors; we are a community, a family.
A big thank you to Abbie and Rohini for preparing the delicious food. To my amazing team, thank you for your hard work and dedication in supporting me all the time.

Melbourne Cup Luncheon at Glengowrie – 4th November 2025 - What a fantastic afternoon celebrating the race that stops the nation! Our residents enjoyed delicious food, great company, and plenty of laughter. The room was filled with smiles and excitement for the big race.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. And a special thank you to the ladies and gentlemen who participated in Best Dressed of the Day – you all looked fabulous! The winner for best Dressed was Bob and Rosie 💐🎉👏

Today, we pause to remember and honour the brave men and women who served, and continue to serve, our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication have secured the freedoms we cherish every day.

At 11am we take a moment of silence to reflect on their service.
